Ridge Clean Energy Ltd, a UK-based renewable energy developer, has secured Contracts for Difference for four projects in the Allocation Round 7 (AR7) auction. According to the company statement, AR7 auction results announced on Tuesday confirmed Contracts for Difference awards for four Ridge Clean Energy renewable energy parks across several renewable energy parks. Among them, Fair Oaks Renewable Energy Park includes 49.9 MW PV with 50 MW BESS, while Six Oaks includes 35 MW solar and 50 MW BESS capacity. Sunny Oaks Renewable Energy Park integrates 18 MW solar with 28.5 MW BESS, and Three Oaks includes 39 MW PV with 25 MW BESS. According to Ridge Clean Energy Ltd, the portfolio is intended to boost local construction and business rate revenues, in the context of the GBP 15 billion (~ $20.4 billion) Warm Homes Plan by 2030.
