A global Grid-Enhancing Technologies, Reactive Technologies, in partnership with Al Haitam, secured a multi-year contract from National Grid Saudi Arabia (NGSA) to deliver grid stability measurement services through the GridMetrix platform. Under the agreement, Reactive Technologies provided real-time visibility into system and regional inertia, allowing National Grid Saudi Arabia to manage low-inertia conditions within its 60 Hz islanded system. The platform integrated with existing infrastructure and included tools such as dynamic heat maps, alerts, and operational insights. National Grid Saudi Arabia, a wholly owned subsidiary of Saudi Electricity Company, adopted the solution as solar and wind capacity expanded under Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 targets.
