Europe’s Independent Power Producers R.Power has signed its first project finance agreement in Germany for the 20 MW Klotze photovoltaic project in Saxony-Anhalt. The project is financed by DAL Deutsche Anlagen-Leasing with Deutsche Leasing Finance.The agreement marked the company’s entry into debt-financed project delivery in the German renewable energy market. The Klotze financing confirmed R.Power’s approach to structuring bankable projects across PV, BESS and hybrid technologies. The transaction represented a further step in the development of a pan-European independent power producer platform.
