Prime Capital AG, an independent asset management firm, has signed a share purchase agreement for Project Jupiter, which is planned with up to 150 MW of solar PV and a 500 MW / 2,000 MWh BESS in Brandenburg. The project is located on a former airfield acquired by WBS Power in 2022. Both assets are designed to use a shared 380 kV grid connection operated by 50Hertz. The construction is expected to begin in late 2026 or early 2027 and is supported by an estimated €500 million (~$ 583.14 million) investment. The parties have accelerated procurement of long-lead items to secure early grid access. The acquisition is being executed through Jupiter JVCo S.à r.l. and remains subject to ready-to-build status. PwC, Capcora, DLA Piper, CMS and Fichtner were engaged for advisory and technical roles.
