NetherlandsClimate Fund Managers and Erco Energía have agreed to sell their stakes in the 26.4 MW Pétalo del Norte de Santander I solar plant. The buyer is Organización Terpel S.A., and the deal is subject to regulatory approval.The project is located in La Esperanza, Norte de Santander, Colombia. It generates over 45 GWh annually, serves about 32,600 people and avoids roughly 13,276 tons of CO₂ each year. The plant began dispatching power in August 2025. Climate Fund Managers has invested around $18 million through its EU-supported Climate Investor One fund. The deal marks its first exit in Latin America. The project created 270 jobs with 64% local hires and 30% women participation. Climate Fund Managers will continue regional investments through Project Pradera.
Erco & CFM transfer 26 MW Colombia plant to Terpel
Organización Terpel agreed to acquire the 26 MW Pétalo del Norte plant in Colombia from Climate Fund Managers and Erco Energía, marking CFM’s first Latin America exit.
