Novar, a Netherlands-based energy systems developer, has signed an agreement to acquire four solar projects from LC Energy. The portfolio covered Woudbloem, Veenweg Ter Apel 2, Amerongerwetering and Magdalenahoeve with a combined 108 MW. The 50 MW Woudbloem project is in advanced development. It is planned for connection through Avermieden, a Closed Distribution System built by Novar with remaining capacity linked to the TenneT grid. The setup reduced pressure on the regional grid and enabled planned integration of new projects. Novar said the acquisition supported its approach of linking generation with distribution, while LC Energy stated the projects would be completed under Novar’s development.
