Norton Rose Fulbright, Global law firm, has advised a consortium of Polish lenders on a long-term PLN 227 million (~ $63.39 million) refinancing in December 2025. The lenders, mBank and Bank Ochrony Środowiska, provided the facility to special purpose vehicles controlled by Atsinaujinančios Energetikos Investicijos, managed by Lords LB Asset Management. The financing related to a portfolio of 16 solar PV parks with a combined installed capacity of 114 MW, owned by PL-SUN. Proceeds were used to refinance construction funding previously provided by Eiffel Investment Group and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, cover remaining construction-related obligations, and refinance part of the invested equity. The Warsaw-based Norton Rose Fulbright team negotiated the facility, security and hedging documentation and carried out legal due diligence, while Pekao Investment Banking S.A. acted as financial adviser to the borrower.
