Abu Dhabi’s sovereign wealth fund, Mubadala Investment Company has committed approximately €300 million (~$ 353.82 million) in December 2025 to partner with Actis in Rezolv Energy, a renewable energy platform operating in Central and Eastern Europe. The investment added Mubadala as a shareholder alongside Actis, which had launched and scaled the platform. At the time of the transaction, Rezolv Energy had about 750 MW of renewable projects under construction in Romania and Bulgaria, with a further 1.5 GW in advanced development, including the Dama solar project in Romania. The company was supported by a management team with more than 15 years of regional clean energy development experience. The capital was intended to support construction activities, advance the development pipeline, and expand renewable generation capacity across the region.
