Global law firm, McDermott Will & Schulte has advised Spring Creek Investment Management and CleanCap LLP on an investment in solar and battery storage projects planned in Germany. The portfolio included more than 500 MW of solar capacity and 2.5 GW of battery storage. Spring Creek Investment Management partnered with MEC Energy GmbH, an MEC Group company based in Düsseldorf, is responsible for developing the projects. Construction was scheduled to start in late 2026. This was the first project that CleanCap LLP advised on in Germany.
