Maya Jaya Sdn. Bhd. has awarded three Letters of Award to Binastra Atlantic Sdn. Bhd. for EPCC work. Binastra Atlantic is a special purpose vehicle with Binastra Green Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of Binastra Corporation Berhad, holding 51% equity. Atlantic Blue Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of Solarvest Holdings Berhad, owns the remaining 49% stake in this consortium. These assets are part of Malaysia's LSS5 program and have a combined capacity of 56.5 MW AC with a total contract value of MYR 171.7 million (~$42.9 million). One of the facilities will be located in Kuala Langat, Selangor, with the remaining two placed at Sungai Lalang, Kedah. Binastra is anticipated to provide funding and strategic oversight throughout the project lifecycle while Solarvest handles technical execution duties. Solarvest maintains a renewable portfolio exceeding 3.2 GW across eight Asia-Pacific countries and these contracts have boosted Solarvest's order book to MYR 1.7 billion (~$425 million). Recently, Solarvest has announced record H1 FY26 results with sharply higher profitability.
