JinkoSolar, a Chinese solar PV module manufacturing company, has entered into a module supply contract with a Jordanian distributor to supply 9.93 MW of solar modules. This contract is regarding the supply of the Tiger Neo 3.0 solar modules in the country of Jordan, which is characterised by desert and semi-arid conditions with high temperatures. The modules have output rating reaching 670 Wp and an efficiency ranging from 24.2% to 24.8%, designed based on n-type TOPCon technology. JinkoSolar has recounted that the Tiger Neo 3.0 modules provide bifaciality levels of 85% to 90%, along with enhanced tolerance to sand and dirt coverage and optimised temperature coefficients. These characteristics are intended to support stable PV performance under these environmental conditions, according to the JinkoSolar. Recently, JinkoSolar and partners have deployed a 9.728 MW rooftop PV system in Bangkok supporting railway operations.
