According to the company, the contract integrates the delivery of all modules for two utility-scale solar plants. The projects have been developed by ACWA Power, a Saudi Arabia-based power generation company, with Larsen & Toubro, an India-based, acting as EPC contractor. The Samarkand 1 and 2 sites have a combined capacity of 1.2 GWp and are located in the Samarkand region. JA Solar said that the modules will be supplied under defined technical and delivery terms.
