Madrid, Spain INTEC Solutions has secured an EPC contract for the 288 MW Shafag project in Azerbaijan. The contract was awarded by Shafag Jabrayil Solar Limited and valued at $117 million. It covered engineering procurement construction and operation and maintenance for the plant’s first two years. INTEC has completed site mobilization and was advancing early-stage construction activities at the location. Earthworks were ongoing while internal road construction progressed across the project area. Ramming activities had started to support structural installation works at the solar site. Deliveries of photovoltaic modules and mounting structures were continuing in parallel. The project is a utility-scale solar development located in Azerbaijan’s Jabrayil region. The works were structured to meet EPC scope requirements and defined operational timelines. Construction activities were progressing sequentially as materials aligned on site.
