Global solar developer ib vogt has sold the 95.18 MW Baobab Solar photovoltaic project in Segovia, Spain, to EOS NER Solar España S.L., a subsidiary of Swiss IPP EOS NER. The project is backed by a 15-year power purchase agreement and generates about 190 GWh annually. It supplies electricity to over 55,000 households and avoides around 19,000 tons of CO₂ emissions each year. The plant used bifacial modules with single-axis trackers and allowed for future battery storage integration. Baobab Solar formed part of ib vogt’s 513.1 MW Segovia cluster. ib vogt retained operations, maintenance and asset management responsibilities. The transaction represented EOS’s second renewable investment in Spain. Legal advisors included Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer and Garrigues. Earlier this year, ib vogt, together with Ingka, completed a 210 MW solar transaction in Rajasthan, India.
