Global solar developer ib vogt has closed transactions totalling about €230 million in enterprise value in Ireland, covering three utility-scale solar PV projects with a combined capacity of 272 MW. The portfolio comprised the Gaskinstown project (94.7 MW) in County Meath, the Rathnaskilloge project (107.7 MW) in County Waterford and the Clonin North project (69.4 MW) in County Offaly, all developed through the Highfield Solar joint venture. Each project secured a 15-year capacity contract under Ireland’s Renewable Electricity Support Scheme 2. Gaskinstown reached commercial operation in August 2025 and Rathnaskilloge reached commercial operation in September 2025, with both assets sold to international institutional investors in December 2025. Clonin North progressed toward a expected commercial operation date in mid-2026. Together, the projects generated around 275 GWh of electricity annually, supplied power to more than 65,600 households and avoided about 70,250 tons of CO₂ each year, with ib vogt providing EPC and ongoing O&M services. The development followed Iberdrola’s completion of 269 MW of solar facilities in Oregon, highlighting continued utility-scale solar deployment across international markets.
