HoloSolis, a France-based solar module manufacturer, has secured more than €220 million (~$255 million) to advance its planned Sarreguemines-Hambach factory. The funding round involved contributors including Cales Technologie, InnoEnergy, TSE, Groupe IDEC, Armor Group and Heraeus. The company has stated that the facility is expected to reach 5 GW of capacity by 2030 and create 2,000 direct jobs. Reuters has reported that the investment strengthens Europe’s domestic manufacturing outlook as regional solar growth faces potential slowdown risks. HoloSolis said the funding strengthens progress toward operational readiness and long-term production stability.
