Grenergy, a Spain-headquartered renewable energy developer, has agreed to sell seven distributed PV plants totaling 88 MW in Colombia to Ecopetrol. The Company said the projects will be delivered independently throughout 2026 with Grenergy retaining up to two years of O&M services. Grenergy stated that it is maintaining its Colombia presence through 12 additional plants totaling about 150 MW at various stages. The company added that the deal is aligned with its asset rotation strategy targeting €800 million (~ $931 million) by 2027. Grenergy also confirmed that more than 60 % of this objective has already been achieved. Grenergy recalled earlier sales, including Gabriela, Víctor Jara, and Quillagua I & II, valued near USD 1.5 billion, alongside Spain’s José Cabrera and Tabernas plants sold for €273 million (~ $318 million).
