Madrid, Spain headquartered Grenergy secured €98.8 million (~$ 116.27 million) in senior non-recourse financing, including €13.6 million (~$ 15.9 million) in credit lines, for the 172 MW Ayora solar plant in Valencia, Spain. The financing was fully underwritten by Banco Santander. The plant was already built and was in the commissioning phase. Ayora was backed by a 15-year power purchase agreement. During 2025, Grenergy also closed $270 million in financing for the Elena phase and $324 million for the Gabriela phase of the Oasis de Atacama project, bringing total non-recourse financing for the project to $1.237 billion. In Spain, Grenergy reported a pipeline of 3 GWh of hybrid battery storage projects and 5.7 GWh of stand-alone battery storage projects, including the 600 MWh Oviedo facility planned for early 2027.
