France based GreenYellow has secured more than €400 million (~ $47.13 million) in project financing in France. It is the largest financing achieved by the group to date. The funding will support the deployment of over 350 photovoltaic power plants on parking canopies. The portfolio is dedicated exclusively to the Commercial & Industrial segment. Selected projects will include battery energy storage systems. The program represents 385 MWp of installed capacity. It is expected to generate nearly 480 GWh per year of local electricity. The portfolio is among the largest decentralised solar portfolios in Europe. The installations will not require additional land artificialisation.
GreenYellow secures €400 million for France C&I solar
With €400 million secured, GreenYellow will deploy over 350 parking canopy photovoltaic power plants in France, delivering 385 MW of installed capacity dedicated to Commercial and Industrial electricity demand.
