Spanish renewables developer, Greening was awarded 25 MW in Italy’s FER X auction, covering seven projects in Emilia-Romagna and Lombardy. A further 3.22 MW project was awaiting confirmation under the Net-Zero Industry Act (NZIA). The portfolio also included a 6.15 MW agrivoltaic project designed to combine farming activities with solar power generation. The awarded capacity ensured regulated revenues for 20 years. All projects were in the Ready to Build (RTB) phase with construction expected in early 2026. Greening also had 292 MW of photovoltaic capacity under development and 720 MW in BESS projects. Alejandro Ruiz of Greening Italy stated that the FER X awards reinforced the company’s position in the Italian market and supported a more stable long-term portfolio.
