Italy-based GreenGo obtained its first authorisation in Tuscany for the 3 MW Martello photovoltaic plant in Roccastrada, Grosseto. The authorisation covered a 2.8 MW input and 3.063 MW peak system using single-axis trackers on a 6 hectare site. It was issued in under four months through a PAS process submitted in July 2025. The approval expanded GreenGo’s authorised portfolio to eight Italian regions. The company has reported that its Ready to Build pipeline grew from 91 MW in 2022 to 697 MW in 2025 across wind, solar and storage projects. Representatives said the rapid process in Tuscany showed efficient internal technical and permitting management. They added that cumulative 700 MW authorisations in 2025 supported the company’s wider regional expansion, including new permits in Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Lombardy.
