Greenbuddies, a solar and EV infrastructure services provider, has implemented the Triticum agrivoltaic project in Oberdorf am Lech for MaxSolar. The plant had just under 17 MW and was reported as Germany’s largest agrivoltaic installation. The team handled preparatory work, construction, installation, electrical systems and supervision. Completion was planned for late 2025, when full operation was expected. Panels were arranged in two rows across 28 hectares on tracker structures. The system has increased output by up to 30 % and allowed wheat cultivation beneath the panels. The project was estimated to generate 22 GWh each year, covering around 6,000 households. Greenbuddies also deployed a 5.6 MW agrivoltaic park near Hova in Sweden, where wheat and rapeseed were grown under panels and first harvested in 2025.
