US based GameChange Solar has announced that it had secured an order to supply the Genius Tracker™ 1P system for the 1.29 GW Bisha Solar PV IPP in Saudi Arabia, developed by ACWA Power with L&T as EPC. The project formed part of Saudi Arabia’s renewable energy pipeline under the PIF programme, where regional manufacturing capacity supported delivery timelines. The Asir Province plant will deploy the Genius Tracker™ 1P platform with SmartStow™, PowerBoost™ and WeatherSmart™ systems, which are designed to operate under high winds, variable wind conditions and extreme heat. GameChange Solar’s manufacturing capacity in Saudi Arabia stood at 6 GW annually, supporting large-scale project supply, while the Bisha project increased cumulative collaboration with L&T beyond 2 GW.
