Enviromena, a portfolio company of Arjun Infrastructure Partners, has secured Contracts for Difference (CfD) support for its Rhigos in Wales and Parley Court Farm in Dorset under the UK’s Allocation Round 7 (AR7). The auction awarded 4.9 GW of solar capacity which is 50% more than the previous round. The strike price is GBP 65.23/MWh, which is lower than last year’s average wholesale electricity price. The government guarantees this fixed rate for 20 years, providing revenue stability and supporting lower consumer costs. The round also contributes toward the UK’s 57 GW solar capacity target by 2030.
