EDF, a France-based integrated electricity generation and supply company, has reported its FY2025 annual financial results. The company’s revenue was EUR 113.3 billion (~ $133.2 billion), compared with EUR 118.7 billion in FY2024, reflecting a 4.5% year-over-year decline. EBITDA reached EUR 29.3 billion (~ $34.5 billion), down from EUR 36.5 billion in the previous year, representing a 19.7% decrease during the reporting period. Net income was EUR 8.4 billion (~ $9.9 billion), compared with EUR 11.4 billion in FY2024, marking a 26.3% decrease year over year. Wind and solar generation increased by 2.1% to 29.2 TWh, supported by newly installed capacities despite less favourable wind conditions during the year. The company’s gross wind and solar project portfolio has reached 95.5 GW, reflecting continued expansion of renewable assets. For 2026, the company expects strong EBITDA, although results may retreat slightly amid market price downturns.
