Ecoprogetti, Italian manufacturer of PV production lines and recycling equipment, has completed a fully automated 400 MW PV module production line in Salalah, southern Oman. Following the earlier Sheida Solar installation in Sohar, the new facility enables nationwide manufacturing coverage and positions Ecoprogetti as the leading technology supplier for local PV module production. The line, delivered to American Advanced Clean Energy (AACE), supports TOPCon and HJT module assembly with end-to-end automation, including advanced quality inspection systems. According to Ecoprogetti, the project aligns with Oman’s rapidly expanding solar market, supported by high irradiance levels and rising renewable penetration. AACE leverages Oman’s U.S. free-trade access to export certified modules, strengthening supply-chain resilience while supporting regional solar industrialisation.
