Israeli independent power producer Econergy Renewable Energy Ltd has signed a 200 MW power purchase agreement with D.TRADING, the pan-European trading arm of DTEK Group. The agreement covered electricity from the Rătești and Părău solar parks in Romania. The Rătești photovoltaic park in Argeș County has an installed capacity of 155 MW and has been in commercial operation since 2023. The Părău photovoltaic park in Brașov County has a capacity of 91 MW and was commissioned in 2024. The delivery period under the agreement was not disclosed. This transaction represented D.TRADING’s third power purchase agreement in Romania. Earlier, D.TRADING signed a renewable energy supply agreement with EDP for 200 GWh annually from Romanian assets. Two weeks before that, D.TRADING announced a two-year renewable energy offtake agreement with Eurowind Energy covering 110 MW of wind and solar capacity in Romania. Separately, DRI, the EU renewable energy division of DTEK Group, completed the 126 MW Văcărești photovoltaic park in December 2025, bringing its operational renewable portfolio in Romania to nearly 300 MW.
