EcoFlow, a China-based provider of eco-friendly energy solutions, has announced full compatibility of its PowerOcean Single-Phase system with Intelligent Octopus Flux in the UK. This upgrade builds on existing app support for Octopus Agile and Flux tariffs and is tailored specifically for UK homeowners. The integration enables hands-free battery charging during low-cost periods and automated exporting during peak-rate hours, maximising power savings and revenue from solar-plus-battery setups. The PowerOcean system is designed to reduce grid dependence and also features safe and durable LFP battery technology rated for over 6,000 cycles, with expandable storage capacity up to 45kWh. The system includes IP65 outdoor protection, built-in fire prevention, and is backed by a 15-year product warranty, requiring no manual input once configured. Earlier this year, EcoFlow has debuted its STREAM Series in Germany for plug-and-play balcony PV.
