London based Downing, a investment manager, has entered into a multi-year framework agreement with Trinasolar to support its solar project pipeline in the UK and Europe. The agreement covered PV module supply for ready-to-build and operational assets. Downing’s development pipeline exceeded 9 GW across multiple technologies, with solar accounting for around half of the portfolio. Recent acquisitions included two ready-to-build sites at Kemberton in Shropshire and Higher Hawkerland in Devon, where the supplied modules were intended for construction. As part of procurement, Downing’s Sustainability team assessed Trinasolar using its Supplier ESG Risk Tool, with ongoing engagement planned. The arrangement supported delivery of Downing’s solar assets alongside its wider renewable and storage portfolio across the UK and Europe.
