Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, public service infrastructure company, has approved the awarding of the second phase of solar-powered data centre in Warsan. The first phase is scheduled for launch in the second half of 2026. The expansion was endorsed by Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer during a site inspection. The facility formed part of Moro Hub, a Digital DEWA subsidiary, covered 66,000 sq m, and had with a planned capacity exceeding 100 MW. Earlier phases of Moro Hub data centres were inaugurated between 2023 and January 2025, with one facility at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park designed to reach 100 MW over ten phases and recognised as the largest solar-powered data centre.
