Cisco Systems, , global technology provider, has signed a long-term Virtual Power Purchase Agreement (VPPA) with R.Power SA in Poland through Sustainability Roundtable Inc.’s Net Zero Buyer Consortium (NZCB). The agreement supports the development of four solar projects: Wydartowo, Bieżyce, Ostrzeniewo III, and Nowy Zagór III. The projects together represent a contracted generation volume of 470 GWh. The VPPA has a duration of 15 years and the projects are expected to reach commercial operation in 2027. Sustainability Roundtable Inc. coordinated the agreement through its NZCB platform. LevelTen Energy facilitated the initial request for proposal process, while DLA Piper provided legal support for the transaction. The solar projects will contribute additional renewable electricity generation within Poland’s power system. The agreement also supports Cisco’s operational electricity demand, including the expansion of laboratory facilities in Krakow.
