Vienna, Austria headquartered CCE Holding has announced the commercial commissioning of a 42.08 MW photovoltaic plant in Montalto di Castro in Italy. The PV plant has reached completion as part of a project financing arrangement already completed with Commerzbank AG. The generated electricity has secured a long-term PPA with BKW AG. The plant formed part of CCE Holding’s 3.9 GW Italian pipeline and its 7 GW global portfolio. The project received an above-average rating in the GRESB Infrastructure Development Asset Benchmark 2025 for risk management, decarbonization strategy and stakeholder involvement. CCE Holding noted that the project reflected the work completed by its Italian team and partners.
