Candi Solar, a global distributed solar developer, has secured $58.5 million in syndicated debt financing led by IFC, which has raised its total capital to more than $200 million. The blended facility has combined commercial and concessional components while adhering to ESG standards. The company’s portfolio has surpassed 220 MW through open-access projects and major installations across C&I sectors. The new investment has advanced solar deployment, facilitating almost 200 MW expansion, while raising contracted capacity over 400 MW. Earlier this year, Candi Solar has secured $24 million to scale projects in India and South Africa.
