Poland based Budimex Group has received financing from mBank. The financing was used to develop, build, and operate the 21 MW Kamelia photovoltaic project in Wymysłowo, near Mszczonów in Poland’s Masovian Voivodeship. The funding was provided to Fotowoltaika HIG XIV sp. z o.o., a subsidiary of Budimex SA, and included an investment loan and a debt service reserve facility totaling PLN 63.7 million (~ $17.64 million). The financing covered the project from construction through operation and supported a solar farm comprising 33,870 photovoltaic panels with a grid connection capacity of 21 MW. The installation used an east–west layout to spread electricity generation more evenly during the day. With these projects, Budimex Group reached more than 90 MW of renewable energy capacity in 2025, supplying power for its own use and for external customers.
