BayWa r.e. France, leading global supplier to the solar distribution market, had sold two utility-scale solar projects to Heling enr, renewable energy company. The Gièvres project had reached 21 MWp on a former sand quarry that was unused since the late 2010s and had been designed to preserve wetlands while enabling eco-grazing. Subsequently, the Salsigne-Villardonnel project had been developed as a 23 MWp Agri-PV installation initiated by a local farmer in a drought-affected mountain area. The facility produced around 25 GWh of electricity annually, that is equivalent to local residential demand. The design had allowed livestock movement while protecting pastures. Following the transaction, BayWa r.e. France had retained operations and maintenance duties, managing over 73,000 solar modules and ensuring compliance with environmental and agricultural conditions.
