Chinese solar module manufacturer, has supplied modules for 531 kW rooftop solar project at Betrimex Coconut Processing Factory in Ben Tre Province, Vietnam. According to the company, the installation involves ASTRO N7 modules designed for stable output Astronergy under tropical operating conditions. The facility was developed by POSOTEC Co., Ltd, a Vietnam-based EPC contractor, which has managed engineering, procurement, and construction activities. The rooftop system has been integrated into factory operations to support onsite electricity consumption. As per POSOTEC, the solar plant will generate over 700 MWh annually since commissioning. The facility has also recorded an estimated reduction of more than 500 tons of CO2 emissions per year. Astronergy said that the project has demonstrated industrial rooftop solar viability within Vietnam’s food processing sector.
