Arctech, a China-based tracker and racking supplier, has signed a 1.2 GW tracker agreement with China Energy International Engineering Co., Ltd. for the Faris PV project under Saudi Arabia’s PIF6(Public Investment Fund Round 6) program. According to Arctech, the new award has raised its total tracker supply commitment within the PIF6 cluster to 5.4 GW. The project is set to use the SkyLine II tracking system, which is engineered for higher output and improved reliability in desert environments. Arctech said the structure has been validated for extreme wind loads using conservative wind coefficients. The company added that the system is optimized for faster installations, enabling reduced assembly work and shorter construction schedules across the cluster.
