Headquartered in Montpellier, Apex Energies has announced on 11 February 2026 that Crédit Agricole Group acquired a 49% stake in one of its main holdings on 15 December. The deal covered more than 70% of Apex Energies’ installed capacity as of end 2025. The partnership aimed to co finance 1977 photovoltaic and storage projects across France, representing 725 MW by 2030, with an estimated investment of €975 million. A first tranche of 827 assets totaling 253 MW was already integrated into the scope. The operation was coordinated by Caisse Régionale du Languedoc and brought together 11 regional Crédit Agricole entities. Apex Energies has secured over 3 000 sites with a cumulative capacity of 750 MW in France.
