Antolin, Global manufacturers of automotive components, has signed long-term virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA) with Spanish renewable energy producer BRUC. Under the agreement, BRUC will build two photovoltaic plants scheduled to start operations in 2027. The plants will provide renewable electricity guarantees of origin covering about 100 GWh annually for Antolin. The supply is expected to cover around 60% of Antolin’s electricity consumption in Europe over a 10-year period. Schneider Electric’s SE Advisory Services supported Antolin in structuring and negotiating the renewable energy procurement strategy. The agreement forms part of Antolin’s broader efforts to reduce emissions and increase renewable electricity use across its European operations.
