England headquartered Anesco has acquired the 36 MW Beachampton solar farm project developed by One Planet Developments with Viridi Re Development, Solar Ambition Europe and landowner Kingwell. The project has received planning permission from Buckinghamshire Council in January 2024. The solar farm is scheduled to connect to National Grid Electricity Distribution in early 2027. After becoming operational, the project is expected to supply electricity to around 9,000 homes. It is also expected to avoid approximately 5,700 tons of carbon emissions each year. The approved plans include hedgerow enhancements and new woodland tree planting. These measures support biodiversity net gains and local wildlife. The acquisition adds to Anesco’s existing solar and energy storage portfolio. One Planet continues to advance a wider pipeline of consented and in-development solar and battery projects in the UK.
