Dubai based AMEA Power has received the “African Deal of the Year” award at the Project Finance International Awards held in London on February 19. The recognition was granted for its 1,000 MW solar PV and 600 MWh battery energy storage project in Egypt. The PFI Awards recognize notable and innovative project finance transactions worldwide. The recognition reflects the scale and continental relevance of the Egypt project. AMEA Power acknowledged the contribution of its teams and stakeholders in delivering the transaction.
