Alternative Energy Project Company, a Jordan-based renewable energy developer, has announced the commercial operation of the Al-Haq Solar Power Plant in Ma’an, Jordan. The 50 MW PV installation has entered commercial operations following approval issued by the National Electric Power Company effective November 30, 2025. A formal ceremony was also held on December 8, 2025, in Amman to commemorate the occasion. According to the disclosure, AEPC handled full development, funding, construction, and operations of the facility using Jordanian teams only. The site features Jordan's first automated panel cleaning system designed to support efficient performance under desert climate conditions. The project is in line with the National Energy Strategy of Jordan and aims to provide clean energy to the national electricity grid.

After securing commercial operation approval from NEPCO, Alternative Energy Project Company has commenced operations at the 50 MW Al-Haq PV Power Plant in Ma’an, Jordan.
