ABO Energy, a European project developer, has secured tariffs for three PV parks totalling 50 MW. The Federal Network Agency tender has awarded tariffs for three PV projects located at Schlangenbad (20 MW), Ober-Olm (18.9 MW) and Schieder-Schwalenberg (10.55 MW). Construction of portfolio has been scheduled for autumn 2026, with BESS to be added the following year. The three awarded PV installations form part of a hybrid portfolio of eight projects combining 100 MW (PV) and around 80 MW of BESS. The portfolio also includes grey power storage facilities with a total capacity of 45 MW connected. Construction of three hybrid developments has already started or is about to commence, according to statement. The tender round recorded 5,247 MW of bids against a tendered volume of 2,328 MW overall. Overall, 262 bids were awarded at an average value of 5 euro cents per kWh.
