EliTe Solar inaugurates high-efficiency solar plant in Indonesia

China’s EliTe Solar launched a high-efficiency solar cell production facility in Batam, Indonesia, in December 2024, as part of its global expansion efforts and focus on clean energy production. The plant, developed in collaboration with the Indonesian government, began operations within seven months of construction, reflecting efficient project execution. Located in a region with significant solar potential of 3,294 GW, the facility contributed to job creation, economic activity, and carbon reduction initiatives. EliTe Solar also announced a $150 million project in Egypt, emphasizing its role in supporting the global energy transition and strengthening solar supply chains.
