The European Investment Bank (EIB) has provided a €50 million green loan to Matrix Renewables for the construction of five solar photovoltaic plants in Spain, with a total capacity of 240 MW. These plants, located in Castilla y León and Extremadura, are part of the EIB’s broader climate action efforts and align with the EU’s goal of mobilizing €1 trillion in green investments by 2030. The project is also backed by InvestEU, aiming to drive public and private investment in sustainable initiatives across the EU.
