EDP Renewables North America (EDPR NA) has introduced its Crooked Lake Solar Park in Mississippi County, Arkansas. This 175 MW facility is anticipated to produce enough energy to power 30,000 homes annually. The project, built on leased land, will create over 330 construction jobs and six permanent positions. It will provide $106.2 million to local landowners and generate $12.4 million in taxes over its lifetime. Additionally, it will save more than 222 million gallons of water yearly. The project emphasizes STEM education and community involvement.
