EDF and Serena completes share swap for renewable projects

EDF Renewables Brasil and Serena Geração, formerly Omega Geração S.A., have concluded a share swap deal. This agreement signifies EDF Renewables Brasil’s acquisition of complete ownership, now holding a 100% stake in the Pirapora Solar Complex, including all phases 1, 2, and 3. Simultaneously, Serena Geração assumes full ownership of the Ventos da Bahia Wind Farm, also at 100%, covering its phases 1, 2, and 3. This transaction effectively concludes the joint venture between the two companies. The Pirapora Solar Complex, situated in Brazil, represents an investment in photovoltaic plants. Meanwhile, the Ventos da Bahia Wind Farm adds to Serena Geração’s renewable energy portfolio.
