Duke Energy has proposed a solar energy program to the North Carolina Utilities Commission and the Public Service Commission of South Carolina. It aims to provide customers with solar benefits without requiring rooftop panels. The program lets residential, business, and commercial customers subscribe to utility-owned solar facilities.
