Drinda, the parent company of JTPV, initiated the development of a large-scale 10GW high-efficiency N-type solar cell manufacturing plant in Oman’s Sohar Free Zone. The project will unfold in two phases, with the first 5GW phase now underway following the recent land lease agreement signed on October 31, 2024, at the Invest Oman building in Muscat. Construction is planned to start by the end of 2024, with completion targeted for 2025. This initiative aligns with Drinda’s global expansion and enhances China-Oman cooperation in renewable energy.
