Chinese solar module manufacturer DMEGC Solar is supplying high-efficiency n-type modules for a 940 MW Fishery-PV Complementary project in Jiangsu, China, which is set to be connected to the grid in October. This innovative project combines solar power generation with fishery activities, utilizing local water surfaces to enhance fish breeding while generating 1.609 billion kWh of electricity annually. The project is expected to reduce coal consumption by 496,400 tons and cut CO2 emissions by 1.24 million tons each year. Additionally, it is projected to boost the local economy by generating an output value of approximately RMB 1.5 billion.
